so your saying film makers shouldn't pay filmmakers...yeah that's going to help the industry a lot.
while it may not have the layout management that other has, Resolve is a pro level color grade tool that now has very good NLE capabilities. Resource heavy? yes. but the results, in my option and many others, are far superior to premiere. It's a pro software so expects some pro resources, codecs, workflows etc. If that doesn't suit then fine, look elsewhere but to simply label it as crap shows a lack of understanding that different products are targeted at different markets.
stabilized shoulder rig....TAKE MY MONEY NOW
Yeah Resolve could do with some work re audio, but then it's not an audio program. Bee nice to have Plural eyes and Resolve play together nicely...fingers crossed...
what it tells us is that BMD listen to their customer base and strive to give incredible features at an incredible price - especially when Resolve lite is free. How much do you think Canon and Nikon etc have listen to their customer base in the last few years?
BMD are a small company yet can produce something that beats Adobe's version in most areas -
To be fair it does work with your 5d. One feature doesn't -audio, and more to do with canon not implementing audio over hdmi. Lack of audio jack is a bad move but misrepresentation. ...??? I'm not sure we should expect everyone else to fix/cope with the short comings of a stills camera trying to be a video camera.
