nah, will be sweet as to get a PG-13 in aussie - that's just everyday language ;)
a few things to contemplate - CC can run a bit smoother the Resolve, BUT resolve 12 is way faster and smoother then 11. Resolve is more fussy with computer hardware then CC. Decent amount of VRAM is a must.
Do you need any other Adobe products? For us we use Pshop, Lightroom, audition, aftereffects etc. so we still need the adobe subscription.
I do all my editing and grading in resolve now, nothing in premiere. Audio sync is a bit of a work around in resolve but I use Plural eyes to sync files and render out new clips.
I'm not a good colorist by any stretch of the imagination but with Resolve I can get alright colour - premiere just made look as bad as I am haha
Isolating colours, manipulating colours, working with colour - Resolve all the way for me, no contest.
Resolve has a fantastic tracker, easy power windows (masks), easy LUT intergration, great RAW support, easy colour matching to some colour charts (we use x-rite colorchecker)....the list goes on.
Download it - take some time to learn the basics (its not a straight out of the box kinda program) - and see if it works for you. Especially as Resolve Lite is free!
Good luck and ask if you need help
