Does anyone have an insight on what the main differences between the Lite and Pro versions will be?

Do you think that $1 mic would hold up though being used with a camcorder's built-in pre-amps in it's XLR input (with an adapter, of course)?

Judging by the audio compression quality, I'm going to go out on a limb and say the video was over-compressed by quite a bit.
