Article Comment – Zacuto's New Gratical X EVF Offers The Same High Quality Display at Half the Price

Really what's happening here is that they overpriced their product (like all of their products) and now they're trying to correct that by lowering the price to what it should have been all along, but charging for the software, which at this point costs them $0. They would give us the whole thing for $1650 (which is probably still a bit overpriced) but they can't because they've already sold some for $3000 or whatever (they basically said this in the video). So they want us pay $1650 for something that should probably be closer to $1000, and to pay hundreds of dollars for software that costs them nothing. Thanks but I'll pass.

I think this thing is awesome. I can't imagine them being the only ones that produce these. I bet we'll get all kinds of designs. Cool stuff.

Btw, this is not meant as a complaint towards NFS or the article, I appreciate the consistent content. I just can't relate to this video at all.

Yah, this video is total posh balls sweat for most us.... at least for me. It's like an American traveling to Uganda and telling the locals that the secret to happiness is to not be so materialistic.
