Jordan Ray Allen

Writer-Director-Producer

After dedicating several years trying to get into the industry's doors as a screenwriter, a credential-less Jordan set forth on an alternate route to attract the attention of his superiors. He jumped into film school with a determined-not-to-fail attitude and goal of writing and directing his own short films. It was there he met Babette Siobhan, an aspiring Director of Photography. They teamed up to form their production company Royal Court Cinema and the rest is history. Jordan's first short film 'Snitches Get Bullets', earned him the coveted 'Short Film Spotlight' on Academy Award ® Winner Kevin Spacey's production company website Triggerstreet Labs. His most ambitious project to-date is 'Red Handed', an anachronistic film noir crime-drama that won 'Best Local Film' at the '2013 Cape Fear independent Film Festival' (Wilmington, NC), made it's international debut as an opener for the Martin Scorsese executive produced feature film 'Snabba Cash' at the 17th annual Purbeck Film Festival in Wareham, Dorset (UK) and screened at the Film Noir Festival in Gisor, France. He is currently writing an untitled screenplay which will serve as his debut feature film.
