"Traditionalist yells at technology"
I love how the film you choose to forget of his is Chappie and Not Elysium. Chappie was great. Elysium was a trainwreck.
I've built over a dozen PC's in my life for myself and others. I am a professional working Video Editor for the past 6 years. I could build a PC with the specs of this overpriced $6000 base model for $3000 MAX. I have NEVER had any issues with updates, booting, viruses or anything else of the like. I can render an entire feature film out in the most render heavy codec with as many effects as you can think of in under 3 hours and I built my PC for $7000. I have 18 cores, 128gb of ram, and 16 terabytes of internal which include 3 tb of SSD. If you think that nothing else compares to "this design" then you are absolutely out of your mind and either brainwashed by the Apple machine or getting paid by it to push positive feedback. Either way the answer is "NO". No to everything you just said.
We shot our feature for $8g in 13 days too. Did amazing in the festival circuit. Around 50 awards at around 70 festivals.
Feel free to check it out. It will be available on Amazon in April.
The God Inside My Ear needs to be in here! $8000 budget and killed the festival circuit!
