Nice, there are other options that are cheaper and more configurable like https://neuronmocap.com/ which works really well
surprised this hasn't been used more, I have 2 3 meter backgrounds i've been using for years
size is nice and I expect the price to be competitive given their history, I hope they are making an eye loop for it. Transvideo have the Starlite HD which is also a based on a phone screen and is a similar size but it SDI only and it's about £1300
I use a wacom with a Logitech G13 gaming keypad and it's been a revelation. Got the idea from Adam Bell A.C.E he talks about it here 6 minutes inhttp://connect.avid.com/2014-HungerGames-Webinar.html. Its also great with Resolve
Bigger companies with larger budgets and larger user bases have failed in the mobile phone market. Apple and Samsung will not loose any sleep, in fact the mobile phone industry didn't even blink . Even if they sell one to every RED owner its still a niche product and at that price point it's not going to gain traction.
RED disrupted as market with its first camera because the market needed and was ready for it. The phone market is totally different and the majority of phones sold are way way cheaper. Can you see a sales rep in any store UK or US that will suggest a £$1000 phone over an iphone or Galaxy just because it has a holographic screen and can control a RED camera.
Don't get me started on ADD-ON's on phones, the idea is great but has failed. Google tired it Lenovo / Motorola tried it. Hell the gaming industry never had much success with it.
