Director, cinematographer, and editor living in New York. always ready, willing and able to work and collaborate. Enjoys ramen.
Thanks Chase. Ordered from B&H, they told me to ask Blackmagic. I'll probably ask them again and then Blackmagic again. Cheers!
The best place to find your cast Actor's Access. Since there is a good amount of production in Austin there will be a good community of actors their as well. You put your project on Actor's Access and exactly how much it pays, list all the roles, etc., and actors submit themselves for an audition. If the project is right people will be willing to work for little or free depending on the circumstances, and it's a good way to work with trained professionals instead of leaning on friends. Hope that helps!
I wonder if their response in this situation is perhaps an acknowledgment that the way of the future is upgrading the bodies rather than fully replacing them, such as RED has done with the sensor upgrades.
FS700 is still a great camera, and I believe that it has better slow motion capabilities. Could always do RAW to an external recorder.
Very interesting. I would like to see more comparisons with other compression engines, it seems like this is something that we overlook but could easily inspect by a simple zoom in on a still. A good cautionary note.
