Director / Editor
Matt Spade got his first experience working in film in 1998 when he did Foley, sound editing and music for "Surrender Dorothy". The film went on to win the 'Underground Triple Crown': Grand Jury Prizes at the Slam-dance Film Festival, New York Underground Film Festival, and Chicago Underground Film Festival. Roger Ebert hand-picked Surrender Dorothy as one of only ten films to inaugurate his first annual Ebertfest in Champagne-Urbana, Illinois.
Matt has worked many facets of film and video, including editing and post production sound. With the advent of DSLR cameras, Matt has taken advantage of the DIY film-making movement to direct and edit his own shorts.
