Film Director and Screenwriter Living the Dream!
Love this post. So encouraging and will be something I continue to look at in the years to come.
If you want another example of a contained movie, check out my feature, Surviving Confession. 90% set in a confessional, but had a lot of compliments saying it flowed really well and didn’t feel contained. Let me know what you think. On Amazon Prime, iTunes, and Google Play. https://www.amazon.com/Surviving-Confession-Clayton-Nemrow/dp/B085R94VTB/
I would love to not lump you in the same boat as Distribber and thankfully, from what I can tell, so far you do pay people on time, but why is your customer service and communication so bad? Even one week ago I sent a message concerning my movie, Surviving Confession, and have yet to hear a reply. If your company was built on "transparency and access," you would at least provide a phone number so customers could contact your company if something urgent happened, like when my movie was released early by accident and we could not get anyone to reply from your company until I sent multiple strongly worded messages. I still have hope for Quiver and the service you provide, but having my message ignored once again, doesn't give me much hope. I understand your team is working remotely because of Covid-19, but since these message are all done digitally, I'm not sure why trying to make a simple price change takes so long to get a response from, if I ever well. As seen from Nathan's comment below, I'm not alone in this.
I have a bad feeling the same thing is going to happen to Quiver. I just put my movie on there a few months ago and they have been horrible. They reply to less than half my emails and there’s no direct way to contact them by phone or email. Fingers crossed nothing happens, but I wouldn’t be surprised.
Such an encouraging video. Thanks for posting. Now I need to get back to my work even if no one ever sees it.
