I own 7 gimbals and one cool cinematic shot would be using the moza gimbals with the mimic feature so you can do shots that are one take : 2nd floor to first and follow talent back to second floor. Just like a scene in Black Panther.
Many European and Asian films does breath a lot more than US films. You can see these mostly at film festivals. I think US Films tend to be faster paced is due to the society we lived in. The fast paced / cut commercials to tv shows to try to grab your attention.
We did a web series and while it is not as big as popularity as others. It did get some attention and viewership. It also gave us opprtotunty to be shown at sci-fi conventions, comic cons and festivals. The series is a Doctor Who Fan Film called. T. R. A. C. E.
It’s been three years now and currently working on a feature martial arts comedy musical so my time been limited in continuing promoting it.
We may revisit the series in the near future and do a 2nd season. But year it was hard lol
The debate started earlier on via Reddit back with gh4 and then eoshd it got a huge argument at then end someone did confirmed that you can't get 10bit by downsizing.
I shoot 4k because my sales agent tell me so and it also makes the buyers to be more interested in my film when it is shot in 4k and they pays slightly more for that.
Now if the final clip is for DVD or just bluray downsizing to 1080 would still looks better from 4k
I have a Gudsen Mini-C phone gimbal and been using it for a year now. It's cheaper than the dji Osmo and does a better job with more features. One of the cool gadget to have.
Arthur is a great guy if you know him, he volunteers a lot and help with our festival (Cleveland Asian Festival) as long as attending our monthly indie filmmakers' group. Very shy at first until you get to talk to him, and very open minded person :)
