It really impresses me the features that that camera has but as you say its a bit pricey.. And with the camera i will have to buy some spare batteries or the battery grip, plus that lens adapter.. Really struggling with my budget.
One more question regarding editing this files. I edit all my footage on a imac late 2013 with i5 2,9Ghz 8Gb of RAM and a Nvidia GeForce GT750 1024MB. Do you think that this is enough for editing this files? Not the ones in 4K (for that matter a will have a specific work station) but since i edit all the wedding at home and probably they will be in 1080p, do you think that i might have some issues?
Once again thank you!!
That´s probably te best thing to do.
Everything will be ok in the end...
The 4k advantage (for me) its all about stabilizing and "zooming cuts". None of my clients will actually know the difference of 4k neither they have 4k displays... So in the end, the 4k it´s a great tool that i can have and work with..
But for shure i´ll wait for NAB and then see whats new.
Thank you all!!!!!
In fact i can get a new sony a7s for 1657€ and the Mkii for 2754€ as i will buy it thru my company and there is no VAT. And as you say if a can shoot at F4 it will make a LOT of diference. I´m leaned forward to go with sony... I´ll wait a couple of months and then i´ll make a move.
Do you know if the sigma MC-11 works well?
Thanks Guy McLoughlin.
In fact if i up-date my set-up with a full frame camera like the 5D as you say, the low light enviroment will be easyer for me to shooot but no ideal. But for the price of a used 5DMk3 i can have as you say the A6300 wich seems a better choice for the 4K capabilities..
I´m in no rush, just wanted to know the opinion from you guys.
Thank you all guys!
In fact i was looking at the micro and it seems to be a good next step to move for. The lack of a monitor might be an issue but as Gal says i can easily get one and not spend serious money on it.
But overall it seems to be a really nice upgrade from canon DSLRs and if so, i will be geard up for a few time. And since no one knows if the BMPCC will have a younger sister soon, it might be better to be shooting with the micro instead of waiting for something that might just not happen.
Once again thank you all for the comments!!
Have a nice day!!!!!!!
