I wonder if this could scale up to replace a telescope lens, at a smaller size, but same light gathering ability. Is it literally more efficient or simply thinner? Maybe it would need to be exactly the same diameter to capture the same amount of light.
So do amounts like $315k for the costume designer also pay for whatever team she hires or is that a separate line item?
Ironically it is the hardware manufacturers that prevented Blu-ray from fully replacing DVD. For example try finding "back of the car seat" Blu-ray players to keep your kids entertained on long trips. The selection is poor to non-existent.
When I wrote a couple of the manufacturerers to ask if they had plans for a Blu-ray model they responded with "no plans, because Blu-ray is unnecessary on such a small screen." Therefore anyone with these portable players will still need to buy the DVD format if they want to watch their movies on the road, hence the popularity of the combo pack.
I, for one, would buy only Blu-ray if I could actually replace all my DVD players.
You missed a whole year there. Hitfilm Pro 3 was released in November 2014. However if you meant Hitfilm Express 3, that was released in July 2015.
