Ah I see. That's how I feel about my Nikon. I do love it for video honestly, but above 800 it's not amazing. (I do have Neat Video which helps).
In this case, it sounds like there wouldn't be a giant difference between the GH2 and my camera.
I'll save up for the GH3 or G6/G7
Also, how much does 60fps matter? I'm going to be using it for a music video and a documentary. I might have some slowmo, but I could always use twixtor
Ok I understand. What would outdated really change though? In other words, I've seen that some films were made entirely on a GH2 (with I'm assuming legacy glass).
I'm coming from an SLR and I have a GF2, so I assume anything is an improvement.
And any noise I could fix in Neat too.
Honestly though, $300 used is much more in my budget than $500 used. But who knows - maybe I should wait and see
This is all great to hear. I'm thinking of getting a T2i for film making next week! I currently have a Nikon but I would love focus peaking so..
(And also, it's worth mentioning I haven't learned how to do all those music video effects in premiere).
Can these be used portably with a LED light array? Does something larger than a lightbulb usually fit through the hole?
