Motion-smoothing is the work of Satan. Thanks to Tom Cruise for helping to expose this vile pestilence. I would join the Church of Scientology if this scourge could be wiped out. Motion-smoothing BE GONE!
Due to their limited feature set, I can't consider them. And I don't think I was really bashing them on anything other than they're over-priced for what you get compared to other brands. Canon bilks it's fanbase with a plethora of crippled cameras. And looks are a very tertiary or even less important consideration but, it's got to be one of the ugliest form-factors out there. So many other choices with better specs, picture and features for less $.
Surprising how these cameras still exist at their price points. They might be worth the cost if Canon cut the prices in half.
While the best stuff just keeps getting shot on Alexa's less than 4K sensors.
Thanks for your contribution.
"DP Bruno Delbonnel also got the honored distinction as being the first DP to work with the Coen brothers on a digital camera."
Has Roger Deakins not shot on the Alexa with them?
