Thank you both! This is tremendously helpful -- I think I'm going to work it in a 4:3 sequence rather than use overlays in this case.

Thank you Michael! This is very helpful -- I should add that I myself am the sole and complete crew, I'll be traveling with my mom, but as far as the production goes its just me. I feel like that, in addition to the fact that this equipment is owed back to the school (with documentation to prove that) would also justify my intentions if customs asked. Thanks again!
