Yes, there are. (Raises hand.) I'm type-B as hell.
Why would you even write that, Christopher? Ever hear of a guy named Woody Allen? How about the Coen brothers? Lena Dunham? George Lucas?
Maybe you have the wrong idea about what type-A vs type-B is. Maybe I do, too, but one of the aspects of No Film School that I appreciate the most is its promotion of a non-judgmental filmmaking community.
Whether you realize it or not, that kind of statement is exclusionary. It promotes the idea that you need a certain personality type to be a filmmaker and it devalues people who don't feel they fit that personality type.
