Director/Writer/Producer
I am currently working on a low budget horror film called S'happens.
I cant imagine it any easier in NYC, better to create a #want by doing an event for a local company. Find one celebrating something soon and help turn it into a video "event". Be courteous, inventive and professional and let them bring you new business by bragging about their "event" they had no idea they needed! Become "sought out" and someone wanting a real film will hear of you too! Good luck and let us know what you end up doing!
Hi Guy, thanks for the quick response. We are both very excited about the project and hopefully it will become a popular weeknight show!
Ohh, I would love to know too. I wonder if there is a list somewhere of ones he "doctored"!
The video does not show for me, anyone else having that problem? It is just a blank space...
I kept expecting it to turn more dramatic, had me wondering what he was reaching for under the table! I noticed the lighting on the books drew my eye twice, but other then that I loved it! The music sounds film noire to me so I was expecting him to pull a "gat" (is that the word in those old gangster films?) out.
The overall feel was lonely and a bit of tenseness.
I was curious why no one suggested shooting in evening light instead of night time and then doing the night time effect. I am so new, it is probably obvious why not, but I expected to hear several suggest this way. I thought i read somewhere that you can now make the scene look realistically filmed at night?
Good luck with your project, love that you are planning so far in advance!
I would love to see what you come up with! I am looking that sort of thing up to, I want an effect where someone disappears slowly but mine is easier since it is into fog so easier to achieve... good luck, hard to achieve ideas with smaller budgets!
