I need headphones that work with cameras. I don't know of a single camera that supports bluetooth headphones although the ice would be good. To be able to hand out headphones to a producer and client on a shoot all hearing the same feed would be nice.
I know there are other options to do the same thing but bluetooth would make that easy.
Bluetooth has been around for years and isn't making a dent in the community apart from the odd person.
The reasons are simple. Plug in and they work, no batteries needed, no bluetooth settings needed. You can't use bluetooth on a plane.
Actually eventually they are because we have too many Macs here and too long spent in the IOS way of doing things to change.
Too much invested with Apples iCloud for Numbers and Pages.
I just don't see the point in dropping such a small little port thats ubiquitous and isn't going away.
So you look forward to having to use an adaptor?
What moron removed the 3.5 jack!!!
Apple has a history of removing ports and forcing people to adapt but this will backfire on them. This is not like removing firewire from your mac.
NOBODY will buy lightning versions of headphones even if they were an option and having to remember to always keep your adaptor with you is F$#Ked.
We need 3.5 more than we need another camera or more LEDs for flash.
I won't be downgrading to this model.
Congrats Canon. You copied an F5 as best you could but with a mirky looking image (would like to think the camera can do better than that and it was just the grade in this case).
Way late to the party at that price.
