Filmmaker, writer, and unlicensed (for now...) psychologist. I'm interested by how our brains construct our perceptions and create a sense of happiness and well-being. Once I get out of school, I'll work towards creating art to combat mental health stigma and give voice to those suffering from mental illness, whether that'd be in the form of a film, a novel, or research in clinical psychology.
For now, I am getting my degree in Film & Media Studies and Clinical Psychology at Tufts University while making weird videos and sending my writing teachers too many drafts of my stories.
Things I like: visiting my family in Ukraine, sundresses, my hometown of Santa Barbara, CA, cats, and the color forest green.

Do you know why it doesn't work well with mirror cameras? Going to invest in one of these diy lenses but want to make sure I understand the mechanics of them before settling down on one! Thanks!
What does Lucas mean when he says, "you don’t necessarily have more picture information on a 35mm frame than a 16mm frame." Is it because if you use a low-quality scanner, the res goes lower? In what situation would you get the assumed higher res of 35mm?
Are you kidding me?! THIS IS INCREDIBLE
Thank you!! This is super helpful--will have samples to show them my work and ways to incorporate their products for sponsorship. And the framing to the question is a really good way to think about it (the "why would people want to invest in it?"). Thanks again!
