Boards Comment – The Poetry of Details--Director Lynne Ramsay

I love the bit of advise at the end - "...and if anyone asks you what poetry is...I dont know , just make something up."

Article Comment – Should You Use A Dutch Angle Shot in Your Films? (Answer: Yes, But...)

The Batman tv series used it alot I believe, in order to be more like the comic book.

Boards Comment – Documentary Interview Techniques.

Some film makers like to have the person introduce themselves to the camera (viewers). Most of the time I think it looks cheesy, but sometimes it can be a moving shot.

Article Comment – How the Coen Brothers Have Used the POV Shot Extensively In Their Films

Hudsuker Proxy is a grossly underrated film as well as one of my all time favorites. Or maybe Its just me.

Boards Comment – How does the point system work on NFS? And....

This is the only site I know of that takes away points every time someone dislikes a comment or post asa a way to deal with trolling. Most have three options:
-like (up vote)
-dont like (down vote)
-report/flag comment
The third item seems to be the industry standard for dealing with harrasment and trolling.
The only scoring being ones total amount of "likes".Is it possible that this site may someday switch to this method?

Article Comment – Does Jonathan Demme's Style of Close-Up Shots Make You Feel Uncomfortable, Too?

I like it when it allows the viewer to see how a character is perceived by others in the story.
