It is always cool to find little gems like these! I've seen it years ago but it is nice to get a refresher.
We made one a couple of years ago that did pretty well. At the time we did not know how to handle a beast called social media so it did ok. My advice would be to work ion the social media NOW find your audience and find a way to talk to them. You can check out my show it's called the Institute. It's a 70's mockumentary about a porn school. We are writing a book about how we pulled it all off for no money. Here's the link:https://www.youtube.com/user/enrollingnow
What a idea! This is what using creativity to solve a problem brings you!
Well said Alex,
The thought of making your first feature perfect and waiting for a little more money is crippling. You take the advice of others because you want your first feature to be perfect. Then before you know it years pass by. Just last year I talked to my producer partner about making a "throwaway" film and it didn't go anywhere because he wanted to over plan it. We have made almost a hundred shorts in total and I know that we will produce a film better than most of the stuff I see appearing on Netflix.
I believe the toughest part is worrying about trying to get everything perfect. I congratulate you on finishing your film and getting it out there. I look forward to see what you do next.
It is great to see that indie filmmakers are creating SciFi films. I am in the process of developing a SciFi feature right now. It will be tough but it is a story I have to share with the world. You can check out the trailer at... openabagofchips.com
