Look it this is a 3D computer only design not a real camera. If the genuine people at Blackmagic Cannon And Red cannot get all these feature to work right out of the gate and they require years of know how sweat equity and time to get it right then this is either a scam or grandiose wishful vapor ware. And just because they say you get your money back does not mean you will folks! Remember all the Kickstarter folks who never did. They will use this money for development and production and when they run into trouble and go bankrupt good bye deposits people.
Don't be a sucker Use your minds. You can make the choice to wait.
You must also be a licensed pilot and have a three person team you the operator two the camera operator three a spotter.. No exceptions for commercial odor. No loopholes folks
Glaring flaw is misrepresentation in advertising that this product works with all cameras. It does not. It lacks an important input i.e. An audio jack. Thus if your HDMI out does not have audio combined like my canon 5 d Mark iii I am out of luck folks. I had to return/ csnce lay order of this product. Atomos Blade on the other hand has just such a feature and even a specific way to sync the audio and video. Amazing.
Crikey! What balls Canon has to offer yet another crippled camera with zero HDMI 422 out! This is sheer marketing madness. Sony must be dancing in heaven over this. The dslr market especially mirrored is shrinking markedly and cannon refuses to offer 4K and hdmi out on the 70d and now the 80 d. 5 d Mark iii finally has hdmi out but only 8 bit and 1080p but no audio. 7d Mark II hdmi 1080 again 8'bit 1080p not sure if audio. No 4K and all have difficult h264 difficult codec no prores easily Forcing magic lantern raw workflow upon user.
Canon has a game changing advantage in the dual pixel sensor but they don't take advantage of this in making mirror less dslr 4 k 10 bit hdmi out and cinema line cameras that could blow away Sony with canon skin tone and image quality. But what has happened is that Sony has invested vertically and is becoming more capable in making superior sensors and now lenses and internal variable neutral density filters and low light wide dynamic range mirror less dslr and cinema cameras all under 10 k. Good bye cannon. And the 7rii is an incredibly capable photography camera. This is a sea change. Csnon is on its heals and Sony is in a place of true dominance. If they get it wrong they listen and fix it. Csnon is deaf. We are long time canon users we left.
Crikes mates! 27,500 $$$$!!! Plus expensive rigging cards and unwieldy. Sure it is nice but most customers won't see any difference. Canon 300 mark ii at $11000 is also less difficult to use, bomb proof, and easy in post production. It also usable on gimbal.
