Article Comment – Make Your Interviews More Cinematic in 10 Steps

Great tips! Using a second camera in an interview setup will affect light placement of typically both your key and back lights. I find it best to setup working to make the main camera's shot look great, then look at getting the second camera in play. Another benefit of working this way is if you are pushed for time you get the main shot set and if you have to can shoot singe camera, rather than messing around setting up two cameras if time doesn't permit.

Article Comment – You're Not a DP Until You've Cut Your Own Material

I think you don't have to cut your own work, but if you don't, you need to work closely with the editor and post team to understand their needs and requirements for your footage. Hopefully you would have talked through post needs before the shoot, but either way you should have an active role in post to learn do be able to offer more for the next shoot.

Article Comment – That Tiny 1080p Monitor from SmallHD Can Also Be Turned Into an Excellent Viewfinder

Small HD please make an option to use the full resolution(1920 x 1080) for the EVF. With so many 4K cameras we need higher resolution EVFs.

What I want is full HD 1920x1080 or even more resolution EVF.

I think the monitor looks great, just am sad about the low resolution for the EVF.
