I'm a french 16 yo in Highschool. After that, I'm seriously thinking going to a cinema school, because I am a big fan of making and watching films.
Thanks, @Guy, I am going to check this website, the advice about good, cheap cameras look really useful and concrete !
Thanks a lot man, @Vetle Håkon Hove Andersen :)
Hi guys, thanks for the quick answers.
First of all Guy, I'm 16 years old so I don't really have a crew, though some of my friends may help me. I am currently trying to get an hacked definitive version of Adobe Premiere Pro, and I have one GoPro like camera, and a little lumix camera with a good filming quality. My budget comes from my saves or my parent's money, and I'm looking for a good camera with which I could gain some experience.
Secondly, Walter Brokx, in the future I'll want to shoot long lenght films, but right now I'd shoot mostly sports (golf, skateboarding) or everyday stuffs. The part where you say "If you never shot anything I tell you not to buy a camera yet.
Think of something simple to make and shoot it with your smartphone.
Edit it." and "whether you actually like doing this, what you wish you could do (this will help with camera choice) and what you will do better next time.", well I already know that I like doing ; I've made a few videos a couple years ago, mostly scooters and skateboarding, which enabled me to experiment with a camera and with Adobe Premiere, here is the link, it only lasts a few minutes. It was years ago so feel free to be tough on critics :)
