I like the idea of another De-Niro and Scorsese mobster movie, but I think this time it has its disadvantages. I agree that we were robbed of finding a new mobster actor and that the de-aging will be a little hard to get used to at first. I just hope the movie is really good and we forget all about the de-aging drama.
I liked the Easter Egg of Uma Thurman’s daughter being put into Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. I thought it was a cool nod to his multiple works with Uma Thurman.
There are a couple of things you can do to help yourself become a better producer. Carefully study the trends among the best selling movies in the past 5 years. Try to choose a movie with A listers in the cast and a good director. Also look at the track record of the screenwriter. But sometimes choosing a small movie with a new director and screenwriter can be a calculated risk if you are able to attain a solid percentage of the movie’s grossing.
