Tony F. Marquez

Writer. Producer. Director.

I am the owner of Hard Knock Cinema, a full service video production company located in South Florida. We specialize in commercials, TV pilots, music videos and much more. Growing up movies were always my oasis. No matter what was going on around me, I could always depend on a good film to lift my spirit. My never-ending love for cinema is what drove me to become a filmmaker. I have the desire to create something that moves people at their core. A movie to me is more than just entertainment. It is an emotional roller coaster of a ride that leaves you feeling changed by the end of it.

Article Comment – 10 Tips for Holding Better Auditions

A big thanks to the creator of this great video!

So much little things to remember to make the whole process run smooth. When I held an audition for Dreaming in Autistic Colors I blocked too many people for the same time block. I think it is definitely a good idea to space them out.

An additional tip that I took out of the experience would be to upload the audition videos to an online drive to make it easier to share with the director, producer and anyone else involved above the line.
