lol, who on earth is going to upload multiple terabytes of data to Google to stitch a project together? Very few people, I'll tell you that. Omni looks promising as a full solution however it's not far removed from the Hero rig.
After using Avid FluidMorph for many years, I have to say Morphcut is TERRIBLE in comparison, nothing but artifacts and even when it's good it's still only half as good as FluidMorph.
This is fantastic, image is stunning.
As a Red Scarlet-X user, I have to say I'm very impressed with the noise floor, color, skin-tones, highlight rendition and over-all quality of the image this camera produces!
Anytime I have been floored by an image be it in a commercial or film, anytime I've thought wait a minute is this film? is this 4k? is this 65mm stock? It's been some type of Arri digital camera.. Hands down the best image bar none.
Amazing! A lot of documentaries made in this style are in fact beautiful and masterfully crafted and quite often they tell a very compelling story. It's a medium and style that works well as a biographical short-doc. That said it's important to be able to laugh at ones self and even one's industry, lest we take ourselves and our work too seriously. Kudos :)
