As far as batteries go for the BMPCC, here is an excellent solution

Just grab a cable for it, attach it to your rig, and viola! Hours and hours of battery life!
Backed! Super stoked on this one Andrew!!! You guys are taking things to the next level! (and so am I with my new AS6!!!)
The cameras themselves are the same. EF is Canon's proprietary lens. MFT is micro four thirds which you'll find on the BMPCC as well as the Panasonic cameras (GH4 etc). I personally have a Canon and a BMPCC, so I've got a mixed array of lenses. I prefer Canon's glass to Panasonic's, so I also have an adapter to use my Canon glass on my BMPCC MFT.
I've got a BMPCC, and Brad's right, it has a 1/8" input. The BMCC however has a 1/4" input, so all you'd need is an adapter

I almost got a Ronin, but this week I saw TurboAce has their new AllSteady-6 on Kickstarter. At under $1100, I jumped on it
Killer price-point, and you can add a single user electric follow focus for about $700.
The sensor looks like the Hero2 from 2011. GoPro is still king
