"3-axis tiltable screen"
Too much complaining here. BM is giving independent filmmakers options, with its disruptive products.
This is 4K RAW with XLR input (mini), a battery that can be removed, recording to external media (see-yah Atomos), a flexible mount (hello SpeedBooster). We should celebrate this moment! Now everyone (Sony, Canon, Panasonic, Red) are going to step it and offer something competitive (Kinefinity). Do people not get that?
And all for $4000? No wait, $1700. Sorry again. It's $1295-did I read that right?
I have had both at the same time and found Wipster easier to use by my clients. I think Wipster is very intuitive, whereas Frame.io has great functionality but a crowded interface. None of my clients knew how to use the comment function on Frame.io, but on Wipster they used it without any instruction from me.
I joined Frame.io after Wipster decided to raise their prices; I was an early adopter where Wipster charged based on server space used. Now their options are based on the number of videos you upload. Frame.io uses the server space tactic, and is cheaper.
My two cents? See what your clients respond to and use that.
These are for corporate use; businesses that want quality but don't have a need for the very best (like 4K) or expensive people, for internal videos that communicate to employees.

I think "Avengers: Infinity War" is a fantastic film, but it's not a good film or even a great film without the 18 other Marvel films that came before it. That's more than 45 hours of story points non-fans (like your parents) would miss, leaving out all the context for what's going on. Watching "Roma" with parents (as this article was inspired by) would elicit a different reaction since that film isn't based on book or even a previous film.
This test was simply to make your parents look silly, which isn't very nice.
