I was using a GH4 for awhile for web work and slowly moved to camcorders. Not only do you get longer record times and (usually) stronger codecs, but you honestly look more professional in the eyes of most people. It helps when you show up to clients to look the part.
I agree with Adam to maybe go with a Sony FS5 if you're looking for a good transition. But if you're looking to stay with smaller DSLR-type cameras, maybe moving to a Canon could help. Their colors are highly-praised, but expect to put more money down.
But hey, nothing wrong with wanting a GH5, either!
