Once the lights go out in your theater or living room your audience won't be able to tell if it was shot with a $5,000 camera or a $100,000 one because- 1) Sound is half your movie, 2) if the story isn't any good then you lost your audience even it was shot on a $100,000 camera and 3) 99% of people can only tell the differences between cameras images ($5K to $100K) when they are viewed side by side.
I love dance and your trailer was very well shot but it gave me no idea that it was saying--a trailer for a "narrative movie?" a documentary? You mention it's "your own take on a narrative". Hopefully there's some "conflict" and a story. Good luck with it.
