Great post. Especially useful in editing to the beat. I would find myself cutting the clip just to mark it, cant believe Ive never utilized this.
Great post. Amazing how much the set can affect the tone. The short already had great acting and cinematography, yet it still felt like so much less cinematic. Just having the brown walls adds so much flavor.
So the IMF contains multiple codecs within a wrapper? So it never needs to be re-encoded (like for example, if you wanted to distribute a film to both Amazon and Cable) once its packaged into an IMF?
I think it's really interesting how we're in a time in which so many people are becoming famous from teaching filmmaking before they become famous making films (or often, they don't). I know that the person who teaches a craft, is rarely the person that mastered it. But in some ways, I think there are a lot of people more interesting in film theory and film tutorial than the films themselves. More interested in filmmaking, than making films. Not sure its a bad thing, but it seems to be true.
So 2004. He cant be that bad, he's had practically the same cast for the last three films. And the stars of Huckabees knew he was trying to make them uncomfortable on purpose. That being said, the videos nuts.
If he only saw once in the last year, it must have been the same I saw it. He was present at the BAM, and did a Q&A afterwards. He's a real cool dude, I love the animal trilogy, and this was great as well. Refreshing cinema.
