I make movies. Good ones. Okay that's subjective. WHATEVER.
facebook is becoming more and more out of reach for films and other sorts of pages like that. They're bottlenecking. Twitter is a much better source to reach out to people. But you should absolutely have both going. Just direct them to your facebook page.
(that's advice, not benefit)... we've gotta really get an "edit post" feature going on here because sometimes sh*t happens.
There was a time where I was really fearing running out of ideas. I got to a point where I came up with a certain amount of things I wanted to do and couldn't think of anything else.
But it passes. You just have to live your life, and things will come to you. Even the littlest things can be inspirational. I'm always thinking of something now and it feels like I'll never run out of ideas for content. There's always something that pops up.
Broaden your horizons as well. If you mostly keep to one thing, try doing something you wouldn't normally do. Write about it. If there's a seed of an idea, it will start to sprout. If not? Move on to something else and see if that inspires you.
Writers write, always. (that's benefit not just writers can benefit from)
jeez man, all i wanted to know was if the GH4 was an acceptable replacement for my HVX. YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO WRITE A WHOLE DIFFERENT POST! haha jk
I hadn't checked the gh4 groups on Vimeo but in search all that was usually coming up was gh2 stuff.
But that was definitely something to showcase the camera. I'd love to see more I that kinda stuff so I'll have to give those groups a look!
Shoot the scenes with French Overs. (over the shoulders from behind.) That's the easiest and cheapest way and if you can stabilize it, it's going to look really nice. Especially in context to the scene you're shooting as "French Overs" bring about a certain feeling of intimacy that wouldn't happen when shooting the front of your actors.
