I switched from Canon's Ls (35mm, 85mm) to Rokinon DSs and never looked back. Proof: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B6xL_gxIHZfkM2k5UzNMS2F4WmM
Also I could never tell the difference between those two sets. Hence switched away from Canon completely and might be forever.
Aright, Walter, aright :)
Case closed! Oh boy, am I surprised on personal level -- would never have thought this could happen :) Thanks for sharing!
Mike, I should have posted the actual video discussing short film as a calling card; but it took time to go back and find it as I did not remember who was the speaker.
Anyways, the guy is James Bressack:
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm4097598/?ref_=fn_al_nm_1
and this is the perspective with all the logic leading up to the conclussion:
Mike, it was not about "short is dead". It was about "the right of passage became a feature".
Pixar, comparison of formats, one's skills in each format, do derail us a bit. Best <3
PS I keep being surprised that answers keep being down voted. Like the very first response from Mike is a 0 but I know at least another voter in addition to me gave him a +1.
Really, guys, if you disagree with a response please write your own response or even a brief reply "this is BS", but please do not down vote. Thank you! <3
