Article Comment – Alejandro González Iñárritu on Filming a Difficult Scene in 'The Revenant'

Why English-speaking media keeps spelling Iñárritu? I trust the exotic vowels and concatenates are generally replaced by closest matches without regard for the correctness of the pronunciation. How many English-only speakers know how to pronounce "ñ" and "á"? And since the vast majority does not, this is quite a wasted effort to put those special characters in :)

PS And I thought it was NFS's thing, but NYT also does it. Go figure.

Boards Comment – Canon 50mm Lenses

Tatjana, I've gone through the 1.2, 1.4, and the 1.8 versions and 1.8 is the best.

The extra speed you get with the 1.2 is not worth it the price jump.

Where that red ring of the 1.2 matters tho is when you do wedding photography -- you'll be hissed at by other photographers if your lens does not have one :/

Kodak wants to revive a dead goldfish by electrocuting her aquarium?

Sure, go right ahead!

PS I wanna be a fly on the wall during their new product discussion meetings :/

Article Comment – Nikon Introduces 360 Degree Action Cam That Shoots 4K Video

I feel any 360 video requires the viewer the become and editor. Probably fun for the first few minutes but then it just becomes too much work. After a while people will want to leave the video facing camera's front as this is where the action is happening.
