"Instead of timeline workflows, Black Magic has opted for a node-based platform." Fusion was already node based before Blackmagic bought it.. Seriously this whole article is just old news... And please the free version (just like resolve) is more than enough the the individual User! Unless you're a professional post house you mostly won't be needing the paid version
I couldn't agree more! What really bothered me though was how they (in specific Grant) addressed the issue: "Oh we promised something (more than half a year ago) and now we can't deliver, but you know what? That doesn't really matter, because the people who we sponsor to use it are really pleased with it! Oh! And now we have a great opportunity. We can sell the older model as if it we're new again, because now we have two very different types of camera..."
Excuse my language but: F*** off!!
Next time don't promise things before you are certain you can deliver!
I had a Micro Cinema Camera reserved exactly due to the rolling shutter issue on my Pocket (and 60p) but now there's no point in "upgrading".
Hey I've just bought the Nikon bmpcc speedbooster and I was just wondering: The aperture ring shows stops right? 1 stop less, 2 stops less, etc...
Actually, here: http://starwarsuniverse2.tripod.com/id6.html you can read the synopsis of Lucas's stories for episodes 7,8,9 they are quite fascinating!
But who needs 10 bit on their native displays anyway?
I'm still 100% convinced that this is a scam! I sure hope I'm wrong for those who pre-ordered it. But honestly who the hell would do that without even having sample footage? Maybe they all forgot what's more important in a camera...
I sure hope I'm wrong everything looks decent enough and the designs look very cool. But may I remind you that the https://apertus.org/ Apertus Project has been around vfor a while and not even they have a working modular camera ready yet!
