Oh wow, yes. Great spot! I noticed the flow on the first couple of images but it's all the way through, like each frame is passing the baton onto the next frame. Incredible work.
Agreed, story (or lack thereof) and script, were the biggest problems with prequels. He would have gotten away with everything else if those elements had been as strong as the original trilogy.
Very excited by Episode VII, I just hope they don't think because they're using practical effects again the film will be good. Fantastic to hear Lawrence Kasdan is involved in the writing.

Hi Bradford,
I've been using a GH3 for the last couple of years as my main camera. It's great. The thing that you would be giving up if you got the EM5 Mark II is image quality. The GH3's image is lovely; detailed 1080p with lovely colour and more dynamic range. Judging by the Mark II videos so far the 50 mbit codec on the GH3 is superior, by some margin I would say.
However... what you gain with the Mark II is a class-leading EVF, great LCD and... that IBIS.
So, I think it comes down to an image versus usability decision and what's more important to you given what you want to use it for. I think this camera from Olympus is a great first attempt at proper video, and I'm seriously excited by it, but I will be keeping my GH3 for now because I personally don't want to take a step back on image quality. I guess also you could pick up a GH3 for half the price of the Mark II at the moment? Which would save money for some nice lenses. However, all that said, if you are happy with the Mark II images then it's pretty irresistible.
I personally will be looking forward to the release of EM1 Mark II to see if Oly can take the video quality to the next level.
Hope that helps!
Taste is a funny thing; contrary to the previous comments this in my top 5 films of the year. Funny, sharp, insightful and heart-felt. The greed hit you in the guts because I was in touch with the characters due to the reasons laid out in this post. Loved it.
On the other hand The Revenant, although a fantastic visual achievement, left me cold due to the story telling. Yes it was bad his son got killed, but the story communicated very little about Glass or his son's character leading up to that scene. Glass was stoic and his son had a temper, which was all I was given to work with as a viewer. Maybe the lack of warmth was by design.
