Have you shot and graded the Fs7 or are you just guessing?
Still the same ass backwards design. It'll still require an extra low non standard baseplate if you want to use rods/mattebox, the XLR outs are in the same inconvenient place, and why can't they just move the EVF to the side for easier hand held use? If I plan to use this on my shoulder (like every other job these days), I now I have to buy a rig and an EVF. Wait a minute, am I now spending Sony Fs7 money or more? And no 4k or raw?
Canon needs a complete overhaul. The C100/300 did well in spite of its design because spec wise nothing else compared. For professional ops, I can't tell you how much they're the bane of our existence with the multiple Frankenrigs and crap 3rd party EVFs we have to use to make them functional. They design the camera as if we plan to hold it like a pet turtle with two hands at our waist or eye level. Try that after 15 minutes. Please come out with a pro model with ergonomics that make sense and save your current design for the Canon "hobby" line.
Shame on you Canon.
