Yes, but verify that it's RED's chosen bottom-tier SSD out of China, and not some other virtually indistinguishable SSD. There is nothing else than to the verification than that.

(psst, in COB the B stands for Board, not Bulb – bulb would be confusing because putting the diodes all on one board (COB) is the opposite of putting each one in a bulb. This is all explained in the link you provided in the article :) )
