Article Comment – Starting Your Script with Character: Learn Structure in This Online Screenwriting Course

NFS is starting to lose credibility by simply not including a warning explicitly saying this is an ADVERTISEMENT.

I always distrust self-proclaimed experts who ask a "hefty sum" for teaching screenwriting. But even if you are into those things, why would you pay for this one? Because it's "still much, much, much, much cheaper than graduate school"?

Why would you pay $300 for 8 courses with a screenwriter with 3 writing credits to his name when you can pay $90 for 35 courses with Aaron Sorkin?

Article Comment – 'Be a Filmmaker, Not a Video Maker': Kodak's President On Why Film is King

"When your brain is processing any kind of digital motion picture technology, it's seeing a grid work of colored boxes. When it's looking at film, it's looking at basically infinite image characteristics"

Yeah, but if the movie is going to be screened with a digital projector, does it matter how it was filmed? Aren't you going to see a "grid work of colored boxes" anyway? Even if you use a film projector, does your brain know the difference?

They need to change the algorithm. "The Big Short" has a much better chance than that. I'd love to see their faces if "The Big Short" wins!

Article Comment – Should the 'Essay Film' Win the 2016 Academy Award for Best Picture?

You're not alone. He did get another nomination after all.

But he really did wear a wig. Everyone did, except Brad Pitt.
