we got a 16GB Lenovo Y700 gaming laptop with 6700K for around 1K -- eats 1080P for breakfast using Premiere (way better than my loaded 2013 Macbook Pro) -- but its heavy and screen quality is meh. And the trackpad is a joke compared to the Macbook.
Kudos to Kurt Sutter for the birds - Nice touch of symbolism that otherwise went unnoticed for most fans for a relatively low-brow series that ran a long time.
We have had good luck with Audio Technica ATH-M50x. The switchable cables are great and sound is solid.
Where do you find an NTG3 for 350? Off the back of a truck? :-)
Another vote for the AT-875R. Clean sound and good noise rejection. Just have to have it close and pointed properly. Pretty reasonable at around $200...
Another vote for the Rokinon Cine lenses. I have the bundle and love every one of them. I went from Nikon primes to these and the results have been great.
