I start to love Cinema very early, with Universal classic monster movie seen at 5 years on national tv at 14.30 of afternoon, but when i saw Ghostbusters at theater i ended the movie with an idea : i want to do movies like that :-D
it's a great news, now we should wait until this in someway integrated to a 3d software... there are many free, many opensource, many high end 3d render... but if you should be a developer to integrate in your 3d workflow...
anyway like in past many freelance work to do plugins to integrate render engine with software, i hope to see a plugins also for this render engine.
i'm happy for him that he can choose the tool for his storytelling, i like that horror genre can be elevate to A categories, i like a lot horror movies from when i was a child.
Shooting this movie in Imax seems to a gear gimnic, but it's ok, i hope this help more horror directors to see their stories on big screen (I am among them :-P).

to be precise, bmpcc4k not support blackmagic 6k viewfinder, but there are many third vendotr viewfinder that can be used with bmpcc4k by hdmi.
i used their sacker falcon lite, adapter for canon to Emount Sony and work quite well, i think this new idea could work fine, with limits that they well know.
i hope they develop more and more :-D
