not excited. rokinon should of never made those garbage xeen lenses. they already had cine primes. now their anamorphic had to be more expensive.
who else can start the revolution and provide $2k anamorphic glass?
blackmagic. get your 4:3 aspect ratio bits in gear already.
not a fan of panasonic cameras for films but this looks good.
the Ks dont matter. there is no visible difference between reds new cameras. all new films might as well be shot on their 5k dragon. large format? dont matter. you can achieve a blurry look by shooting at 2.8 in daylight with a 50mm.
only thing of interest in new cameras is low light sensitivity and insane dynamic range.
This looks great! I need to build the guts to shoot film. The visuals in this have me asking what movie is this from? instead of it being shot on someones GH4 asking who's vimeo project is this?
Maybe our 4k options are barely starting to get interesting.
Canon 4k dslr which was overpriced.
We had blackmagic production 4k plagued with problems.
People like myself who dont want to shoot 8bit or 10bit Sony or panasonic: so we're barely getting in to the ursa mini but its an expensive all around upgrade as far as cameta, storage, and processing.
