The still above of the 4 people is intriguing - what film is it from please ?
It is worth analysing why the big films bomb too. I'm particularly thinking of John Carter and Lone Ranger. I think it can be for the most fickle of reasons. People were like "Does Johnny Depp know there is a bird sitting on his head ?"
I would also be intrigued by more insight into lens choices combined with camera movement (or no camera movement) in terms of emotional impact. Thanks for the post.
Very good. Just as the camera captures the motion at a particular frame-rate, these considerations are still critical for a digital animator to simulate reality. I understand animators used to train on the basis of timing movement to frames eg the "4's" or "8's" or "12's". Anyone have any further insight (eg books etc) ?
Many thanks to you, Erasmo, will track that down. Meantime found a Wikipedia article which states Max, ZBrush and Adobe - so I'm guessing After Effects. I wonder how many here have had to tackle a bit of digital cgi and compositing. Best.
I thought they would have one which said "M-JPEG Rules OK" and another which said "F- Nikon".
Only kidding, I like Canon.
