I agree with what you're saying for the most part, but there is always a place for autofocus where even having a dedicated AC still makes it hard to pull off where allowing autofocus will generally get you a better result. Especially with instances of long lenses in lower light conditions. Also action sports in general autofocus is generally more reliable, and think a lot of high end action sports shooters would love to get their hands on this. Just my 2 cents.
Well said. Another reason I'm very excited about the Wheel of Time series from Amazon. Robert Jordan was that guy, may he rest in peace. Obviously that's a book adaptation going to TV, but your point rings the same. You need someone who can dream big, but ground everything to the tiniest of details and hang with the nerds when it comes to mechanics and logic.
I'm definitely curious if this is the year the A7sIII finally gets announced. Either way this R5 does seem interesting, but I can't help but feel canon will price it way to high.
Exactly, like what else would they do? I think EF is great, there are so many high quality options out there now without ever touching canon products, who cares if Canon updated their lens mount...
I would definitely recommend adding Video Co-pilots, FX Console. It's free and really works great. Link here: https://www.videocopilot.net/blog/2018/05/fx-console-updated-to-v1-0-3/
I would also recommend adding to this list True Comp Duplicator. It's free (but donate if you can) and is sooooo handy for duplicating complicated comps with tons of precomps nested inside them. It even copies scripts and everything. Link Here: https://aescripts.com/true-comp-duplicator/
Okay so defend TLJ as legitimate good film, go...
