I've been using FCPX professionally since 2012. I make commercial work for tech startups is that considered pro? Here's my work: www.antonybui.com
Or they can try both and pick the one that fits them best? Or be like me and use both?
I don't necessarily disagree with this video, but I do want to point out the times I've seen male characters pulling some jiu-jitsu.
1. Mel Gibson's character hits a triangle choke at the end of Lethal Weapon.
2. Donnie uses closed guard and spider guard in Flashpoint.
3. John Wick jumps guard, fires a bullet, and then rolls into mount.
These are just off the top of my head, I'm sure there are more. And yes, I am a total martial arts nerd/BJJ purple belt.
Insert obligatory "lol imovie pro/nobody uses FCPX/it's not professional/etc. etc." comment.
Now that that's out of the way, I absolutely love this new update. The new audio organization tools are fantastic and unlike anything I've ever seen. Love it!
I've been editing GH4 4K footage on my Macbook Pro for years without any performance issues. I use FCPX, edit everything in proxy, and most importantly I make sure to switch the project to 1080p while I'm working on it. Once it's done I just switch it back to 4K and export.
Anyone know a good training resource for Fusion 8? I've always wanted to learn it but I can't find any resources for beginners. I wouldn't mind paying for it, either.
