having used thee Varicam, I think Panasonic cinema camera s are the best kept secret right now in the industry. but I think there are some problems that must be solved if it is going to make any headway. the varicam 35 is too big and the codex workflow makes it only for big Hollywood productions. the Lt while OK in size did not get the codec right. it should be able to shoot 444. cinema dng on the other hand while it holds all information from the sensor has different performance amongst different programs. from colofront to filmlight to davinci reslove. colfront has d best debayer of the varicam infact u think it's arriraw dat u working on. and davinci has the poorest debayer performance. if Panasonic had sold the V35 head as the Lt sales would have been far improved. until Panasonic get these right I am afraid d varicam brand would be a though sell the world does not need a cheap camera but a proper camera.
