Article Comment – In 'The Irishman', Scorsese and De Niro Will Attempt to Turn Back Time

Personally I believe it will work out and the ($14000000) money is worth it relatively. I for one am from the end of that (70, 80 and 90’s even) era where music and movie talent where still amazing. Yes, I will pay to see the last drop of something that is just about gone before I reprogram myself to the current offerings. Let me say that it is nobody’s fault that the standards are not the same today. It is just the way things evolve. The average talent and acting level from the past is was higher than it is now. The actors, personal in “The Irishman” represent some of the perfectionist and cream of crop from that great era. I feel like when I watch them, I am not wasting my time and they bring to me and portray the most accurate depiction. Yep, like I said before, I will take the last drop of this!
