Been working at video production in Tampa, FL for 10 years.
We're looking forward to testing out these Vazen Anamorphic lenses. We have been using the Atlas Orion lenses, and love the flares on them. You can see the Atlas flares in this video compared to simulating them in post or with the streak filter: https://youtu.be/BFNq4MODvj0 - hoping the Vazen flares are even better.
I've been wondering the difference between the Cooke look and entry level lenses like the Rokinon cinema primes. This comparison video is pretty interesting to see how $20,000 Cooke S4 cinema lenses compare to $350 Rokinon lenses: https://youtu.be/cDoIb_sS1Lc
The Laowa 25-100mm OOOM is a really unique lens. Film Jams tested out one of the prototypes and shot a comparison of the 25-100 to a Fujinon 20-120mm lens, which had a lot of similarities (The Fuji is more than double the cost though): https://youtu.be/FiC9ToAq_eY
Love the Eye Effect! Need to try that one. Also can't go wrong with Walking Away from Explosions in Slow Motion! A little tutorial on how to do that here - https://youtu.be/_x8GVN7qQNQ
Has anyone used this? Is it plagued by crashes like Adobe Premiere has been in recent years?
Definitely! Like a bar of 24k goodness! :D
